Field Duck Hunt

During this morning in the field, we kill more than 20 ducks in wich 2 had bands and there was 1 with double band with 100$ reward. The mojo mallard is the key of the success for duck hunting in the field, this tool is more effective in the field than on the water.

Durant cette matinée au champs, nous avons tué plus de 20 canards dont 2 avaient des bagues. Un de ces canards avait deux bagues à lui seul dont une avec une récompense de 100$. Si vous avez la chance de chasser le canard aux champs, n'oubliez pas d'apporter votre canard motorisé car cet outil est plus efficace aux champs qu'à l'eau.

Canada Geese Hunt

After many days without rain, the ground of the jazel field was really dry with nothing to hide. There was many canada geese the day before but the real problem was how to hide. Look behind the group, we went the night before to dig the blinds in form of cone to be sure that the ground extract of the hole was dry before fly of the geese. The result, 30 canada geese in less than 30 minutes of hunt­ with a set up 30 decoys. It's demonstrate that when you are able to hide hunters correctly, you don't need lot of decoys.

Après plusieurs jours sans pluie, le sol du champs de jazel où nous avions localisé les outardes était sec et avec si peu de paille qu'il devenait difficile de si cacher. Nous avons donc décidé de sortir nos pelles et nos caches en forme de cône le soir avant la chasse afin de s'assurer que la terre soit sec lorsque les outardes se metttraient à voler. Le résultats est qu'en 30 minutes de chasse nous avons récolté les limites de 30 outardes avec aussi peu que 30 appelants. Ce qui prouve que lorsque les chasseurs se fondent dans le champs, le nombre d'appelants peut être réduit de beaucoup.

If you look at the blind, you will see the importance of camo. With a finisher layout blind of Avery you will have confort, place to put flag and enough rubber to put weed of the field where you hunt to make dissapeared the blind. This part of the hunt is the most critical because when you understand that the blind have not good looking at the eyes of geese or duck, you're in the rush of the hunt and it's to late to run after weeds. The rest of morning goes in the same ways with long shot and birds who don't want land in the decoys.

5 Minutes Of Non Stop Action

Look at this video, you will see more than 35 snow geese killed in 5 minutes without cut. It's amazing to see the result of a lot of decoys with movement to eliminate the movement of hunters. During this period, hunters didn't have time to reload and hide between flop of geese. That's why sillosock work very well on windy days to create illusion of real snow geese in movement. The result of 11 octobre 2008 hunt, 43 snow geese, 1 canada goose and 2 ducks. The decoys use on the landing zone was GHG life like series full body and some 200 sillosocks to put movement in the back.

L'installation des appelants dure aproximativement 1½ heures dans le champ où nous avions préalablement trouvé environ 4000 oies blanches ainsi que quelques outardes et canards l'après midi précèdent.

Chasse à l'oie blanche de Team Lac St-Jean le 23 octobre 2008. Il y avait 8 chasseurs avec des quotas de 20 oies par permis, donc un bel avant midi de 160 oies au total.
